What is RoyalTree?
RoyalTree is an accounting app specifically built for authors. Because our industry requires so many different types of sales, we're either left with paying for an overly complex solution we'll never fully use, or building a custom solution in Excel spreadsheets.
RoyalTree handles the necessary aspects of selling books, whether it be traditional or self-published, without the confusing fluff of bigger apps.
How did RoyalTree start?
Ryan began building RoyalTree before the Authorlytics business was ever a discussion. Frustrated with his own accounting solution (a mix of Notion and Excel) he started designing and building an app that he could host for his own personal use.
When Sam started talking about opening S.A.M up for others to use, he realized that RoyalTree could tag along, providing even more support for authors looking for applications designed specifically for them.
How much is RoyalTree going to cost?
We're still working out the exact details, but there will be options to pay on a monthly, quarterly, or yearly basis; as well as a one time purchase option.
Additionally, we're going to be offering free subscriptions for those who cannot pay. More details to come.
